University-Wide Guidelines for Tagging UP Manila’s Activities to SDG Released

Aligning with UP Manila’s mission to lead as a public service university that encourages
students to engage in constructive action and to contribute to the improvement of the
community, nation, and the world, the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
(OVCAA) releases guidelines for the tagging of UP Manila activities to the Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs).

As a strategic stride towards its long-term vision as a national leader in the health sciences and
being an SDG-engaged university, the tagging initiative is aimed at promoting greater
interdisciplinarity and an effort to champion the 17 SDGs across campus. With these serving as
a foundation, the OVCAA enjoins the UPM community to bring together campus strengths
towards the SDG agenda in service of the public good amidst increasingly complex global
challenges.

UPM constituents may refer to the released guidelines for more information.
