Just as the UP College of Medicine welcomed a new academic year that brought a renewed zest as well as new and familiar faces of students into the College, UPCM also welcomed the arrival of an outstanding batch of new faculty on October 25 during a virtual event held via Zoom.
The heart of UPCM's strength, apart from its students, is its world-class faculty. And in continuing to strengthen its commitment to excellence in community-oriented medical education, this year, the College celebrates the arrival of 14 educators who bring a wealth of proficiency and years of professional experience to their new roles. These accomplished group of scholars bring research and pedagogical excellence across multiple disciplines and they will join colleagues in the departments of Anesthesiology, Clinical Epidemiology, Dermatology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences, Orthopedics, Pathology, Physiology, Psychiatry, and Surgery.
