The UP College of Medicine congratulates Dr. Teodoro "Ted" Herbosa for being the newly appointed Department of Health Secretary.
Dr. Herbosa is an alumnus of UPCM and Chair of the College's Department of Emergency Medicine. Prior to his appointment, he has served as a DOH Undersecretary from 2010 to 2015 and has been a Special Adviser to the National Task Force Against COVID-19 at the height of the pandemic.
He was sworn into office on Tuesday, June 6, before President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. at the Malacañan Palace.
