Dr. Juan C Nañagas was a prominent anatomy professor of the UP College of Medicine. Among his
publications were researches delving on the cranial dimensions of Filipinos. He was elected as President of the PMA (Philippine Medical Association) from 1937-1938. Additionally, he was also
instrumental in the restoration of the Quezon Medical Society, formerly known as the Tayabas Medical
Society, in 1937.
