CHED-MSRS PROGRAM
CALL FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS FOR THE MEDICAL SCHOLARSHIP AND RETURN SERVICE (MSRS) PROGRAM FOR THE FIRST SEMESTER FOR ACADEMIC YEAR (AY) 2026-2027
As defined in the updated guidelines for the MSRS Program, "deserving students" are those who passed the selection criteria for application to the scholarship program and who are willing to undertake the mandatory return service, preferably but not limited to the following:
- Those residing in a municipality without government physicians;
- Those residing in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDA) or from the top twenty (20) percent provinces and/or municipalities as identified by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), calamity-prone and conflict areas;
- Those belonging to the ethnic group or indigenous populations/communities as certified by respective local government units and the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP);
- Those dependents of Community health volunteers;
- Those residing in low-income class municipalities with high poverty incidence, and
- Those whose combined annual family income of less than Php 450,000.00.
Application Deadlines:
- Online Application: Submit via https://bit.ly/MSRSApplicationForm on or before June 30, 2026.
- Hard Copy Submission: Submit all physical requirements to the Office of the Associate Dean for Faculty and Students on or before June 30, 2026.
Please make sure to submit all requirements within the application period. Late and incomplete applications may not be processed.
