Dr. Marciano Limson was a neuroanatomist who trained at Johns Hopkins and Minnesota. He became the second chief of the Section of Neuropsychiatry, Department of Medicine of the Philippine General Hospital. Known as a “walking anatomy book”, Dr. Limson was the first Filipino to teach neuroanatomy, neurology, and psychiatry at the UP College of Medicine during the Commonwealth Period.
