Congratulations, Dr. Manalo for being the recipient of the Best Dissertation 2024 Award!
Mr. Rafael Vincent M. Manalo, UPCM MD-PhD Class 2024 (Batch 7), was selected as the recipient of the Best in Dissertation Award by the panel of judges from the University of the Philippine College of Medicine (UPCM). His dissertation entitled, "Modulation of Linamarin-Induced Neurotoxicity via Gut Microbiome Dynamics under a Low-Protein Diet,” garnered the highest rank among the graduating scholars.
This award is an annual recognition given by the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD) and UPCM to recognize the outstanding MD-PhD Molecular Medicine scholar who authored the best dissertation for the year.
Dr. Manalo will receive a cash prize worth PhP 25,000.00 (net amount) and a plaque of recognition.
