Due to the pandemic, our LU6 student's clinical rotation at the hospital was suspended. Recognizing that they will need basic knowledge and skills in performing common hospital procedures prior to being deployed to UP-PGH, the UPCM LU6 in cooperation with the LU7 Committee designed a Skills Lab with the objective of providing hands-on experience through simulation for our students. This was conducted last July 2021. It is our fervent hope that this activity will help them prepare for their clinical rotations.
