Last June 20, 2022, the UPCM received from the Department of Science and Technology, Philippine Council for Health Research and Development a certificate of appreciation for its invaluable contribution and support in strengthening health research capacity in the country. This was given during the "Pagpupugay at Pasasalamat. 40 taon ng Pananaliksik Pangkalusugan Para sa Pilipino" held at the PICC, Pasay.
