UPCM Honorees at TOYM 2022

Outstanding UPCM alumni and faculty named among Ten Outstanding Young Men 2022 honorees at Malacañan Palace Awarding Ceremony

At the Awarding Ceremony held last March 30, 2023 at the President’s Hall of the Malacañan Palace, four UPCM alumni have been named among Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) 2022 awardees. Led by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, the awarding ceremony celebrated the accomplishments of leading Filipinos who advance the country with their dedication and significant contributions in their fields.

UPCM congratulates the following honorees:

  • Dr. Ronnie Baticulon (UPCM Class of 2008)
  • Dr. Paul Gideon Lasco (UPCM Class of 2010)
  • Dr. Beverly Lorraine Ho (UPCM Class of 2010)
  • Dr. Ramon Lorenzo Luis Guinto (UPCM Class of 2012)

Of 117 entries submitted nationwide and from 21 nominees that have been narrowed down to 10 awardees, the UPCM alumni along with other honorees have been selected based on the leadership and service they exemplify in their respective fields. The TOYM awards, established in October 1959, recognize the contributions of Filipinos aged between 18 and 40 to motivate younger generations in aspiring for great work in service to humanity. In previous years, the award-giving body has named notable honorees such as  Ninoy Aquino, Jesse Robredo, Ryan Cayabyab, Hidilyn Diaz, and other world-class Filipinos.
